Abbau Capital was founded by Marc Wenda, a finance professional who graduated from the Solvay Business School in Brussels, and gathered extensive experience, first in financial markets, in Europe and Asia with Banque Indiosuez, a french merchant bank, then in alternative funds operations with EFA, a Luxembourg fund administration specialist, and eventually in wealth management and fund governance, with Banque Pictet & Cie, a swiss private bank.
Marc Wenda currently holds several investment fund director mandates, provides financial training to a number of financial institutions in Luxembourg, and carries out consulting and training missions in emerging countries for ATTF, a Luxembourg government-supported agency aimed at financial cooperation.
Marc Wenda is an active member of several professional association such as ALFI (Luxembourg Investment Funds Association), ALRIM (Luxembourg Association of Risk Managers) and ILA (Luxembourg Directors Association).
